We are excited to announce the arrival of utility back Antonio Turetta from Italian club Arieti Rugby. Antonio offers us great depth anywhere in the back line and, having played third tier Italian Rugby, comes with a decent pedigree. Antonio touched down last week and cannot wait to get started.

“Rugby is my priority and the main reason I have decided to move to England. I cannot wait to join Oxford Harlequins, everyone has been incredibly welcoming since I arrived” said Antonio.

“Having has a beer with Antonio last week, his passion for the game and desire to learn is infectious. He is young and ambitious, a perfect combo for the next chapter at Oxford Harlequins,” added Head Coach Andrew Boyle.

Antonio joins Ralph Jones and Rory Garrett as new additions to the Quins back line for the 2018/19 season.

“Competition for places is vital if we are serious about improving on our 4th place finish next season. The boys we have brought in thus far will certainly help to ensure that everyone is on their toes,” said Backs Coach Dougie Gordon.
